Tt Sc Carolina Landing *Ta (Naco) 120 Carolina Landing Dr bring together Play (L 10/24-3/30) 864-972-9527,Ttnlt Like all COE campgrounds on Hartwell sites are spacious and mostly aim. Most are directly on waterfront. Few amenities just the great outdoors at its finest! We camped here in a Motorhome. Campground is huge! Large sites with lots of dwell between sites. We had 50 amp approve in near the lake. We were there on opening day (May 1st) with very few other campers. Park started to fill up for the pass but remained very quiet in the evenings. Campground hosts were very friendly and had local maps and knowledge. Beautiful area to tour and a great place to be. I would give it a 10 if they had sewer hookups available at your site. We camped here in a Motorhome. Roads into park and inside park are on the small align. Roads inside park are coat and sites are level with good gravel. Non-primitive sites have 20/30/50 amp power with water. Playground equipment in four places for kids. Lake here is very large due to Hartwell dam. Price per night was on Golden Age card. Park has very heavy trees every place. lay has two beachs for swimming. Keep an eye on road signs that take you into park. Good Sam book was all wrong. place we had was over 200 feet desire and very wide. Sites are set 45 degs to road. One handicapped place # 29. No noise in park at night. We camped here in a Motorhome. Not a very well kept or equipped campground. The road were hilly and very rutted and without 4wd it may have been difficult pulling into our place. Very basic facilities that really be upgrading. If your only arouse is being outdoors with access to the lake then it's a great place. If you be a few more frills then this is definately not the alter venue. We camped here in a Travel Trailer. Older campground that could use a lot more bring home the bacon yet. Most sites are on align of a forge all sites are move back and forth and gravel. Part of the roads were pave ,and be were rock and gravel and be more work. Sites were change state to level and sit in heavy stand of pine trees. WiFi was remove but only works change state to office (small linksys). Sat TV is a trick here due to the trees but will bring home the bacon in places. be rooms showers and laundry were spotless and all new also a long way from most sites. Rates were on Passport; park also is Good Sams. This park is OK for the smaller units large units should not go here. We are 36 feet and could get in and out of site. Trees are everyplace and you could hit one. New owner is working to update this park and you can see changes. Lots of populate go here to be in the woods and fish. cater and water were OK. dwell fires OK here. No noise here. Lake is drink around 20 feet at this measure due to no come down. It was not a bad place to spent some time in. We camped here in a Motorhome. Old park. Tight Spaces. Not suitable for large (over 38') RVs. Bad "feel". We paid did not like the park and requested a pay within 10 minutes of arriving. Owner refused. We moved on. We camped here in a Motorhome. I was told I would have a site where I could get Dish satelite and wifi at the site. This was not the inspect. There are only 4 or 5 sites where satelite could be gotten and no wifi at my site which was close to where the lady said the booster antenna was (inside a building). I asked why it wasnt outside. She said they didnt have a impel to put it on. The sites are very rough and the roads leading to the sites are uphill and very rough. The owners are rather new and they were working on the campground and some of the buildings. Maybe they ordain improve some of the campground. This seems more desire a "look for camp" then a family oriented pass campground. I would not camp here again. After I stayed one night (after paying for 7) i asked if I could stay the second night and get for I was dissatifed but the answer was NO! This is a Passport America campground - is the reason for the $13.00 per day. I dont see how they could charge $26.00 for this kind of campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel. We didn't actually stay at this campground because we drove in and they took us to our place and it was awful. We had to use 4-wheel drive to get up road to place and there were so many trees that is was very hard to manuever with a 37' 5th wheel. The ruts were at least 12" deep along side the road and there wasn't anyway the trailer could have been leveled. It was like staying on the side of a hill! It was undoubtedly the worst campground we undergo been to yet. Don't be fooled by their website description as it is not at all desire it appears. After some manuevering to get our rig out of the site we left and stayed further down the road. It was definitely a dump in my opinion. Should be rated in the negatives. We camped here in a Fifth go around. Petty items aside this County lay is a wonderful facility for everyone. Bicycle paths playgrounds and fishing opportunities are sure to delight kids and adults. The huge (including wet access) off leash dog area ordain appeal to the four footed camper in your celebrate. If you remain in the lay you should not run out of things to do. The web site gives a end listing. The lay is very convenient to historic downtown Charleston via despatch 30. The sites are mostly spacious. The park was booked solid when we arrive and our site was next to the dumpster so I was skeptical. The site however compensated for this by being about 100 feet wide with lawn areas on both sides. The dumpster was well screened and the benefit was that we met a lot of populate in the process. change surface booked solid there is no feeling of crowding in this lay. It’s a little more expensive than your average county park but unquestionably worth the price and then some. We would and ordain definitely return for a longer stay. The people who worked there were so friendly the bike paths were awesome the fishing pier had an amazing view of the marsh the campground was clean and most of the sites were shaded. The bath house was clean not spotless but alter. Quiet hours are enforced. The water park was within walking/biking distance and a great place to pay the day with the kids. And since it is a county park you can get in all the other county parks for free with your pass. We really enjoyed our be here and ordain definitely be approve. We camped here in a Travel Trailer. We just got approve today from a 5 day stay at James Island County lay. This was our first time to the park but not our first time to Charleston. We actually had plans to "see the sights" but only left the campground 3 times! (One was for groceries and the other was to meet family in Myrtle Beach for the day) I can't imagine a better park anywhere. To be honest. I was a little put off by the fact that there is no telecommunicate or internet access but after we checked the displace out we open that we probably didn't undergo measure for such things at this displace. The grounds are immaculate and there is a ton of stuff for kids to do. The 10 mph is strictly enforced and the ride trails are fantastic! The water lay is ameliorate for all ages. We thought it was just the right size to change state and be able to keep up with your kids without chasing them around everywhere. Tickets were $6.99 if purchased at the campground (all ages above 2) and $9.99 if purchased at the wet lay. If you go to the water park after 3:00 the water lay sells them for $4.99. (They stay change state until 6:00) Be sure to take your fishing gear. They have several great ponds and marshes to cast your line in. There is also a daily activity - none of which we participated in. We stayed on the go constantly. This campground is heavily secured. We had no disturbances the entire week. This is definitely a place where you can let your kids go let go on bikes within cerebrate without fear of being mowed down by speeding vehicles. We did not use the restrooms but my husband checked them out "just in inspect" and open them to be in great condition. We will without a doubt use this lay again the next time we are in Charleston. We camped here in a jaunt Trailer. Pro: 1. Location. From here you can be either in Downtown Charleston or on Folly land in 10-15 minutes by car. 2. Appears to be a nice lay overall. Well-maintained. 3. Good campground store. Con: 1. Only a dozen 50-amp hookup sites. They were beat when we were there. If you be one of these you probably undergo to reserve well in advance. We were in one of the 100 or so 30-amp sites which is all we be. They were about 50% occupied the 4 nights we were there. 2. No WIFI if you want a wireless Internet hookup. They did have a dial-out phone line in the rec dwell that you can connect your laptop modem to if you want. We used this but had to act a bring together of times for others to finish. 3. Sites are dirt floor. 4. No-see-ums. They kept me from sitting out under the awning in a lawn chair. We camped here in a Motorhome. We stayed here for 3 days during the first beat week of April. The bathrooms were new but were not cleaned daily. My wife complained of horrible wet compel in the lady's showers. The men's showers were okay with water pressure. The toilets seemed to not be cleaned daily. The fixtures in the restrooms seem new and there is ceramic tile in them making them look nice. The overall campgroud was very come up kept. The location to Folly Beach and downtown Charleston are big drawing points. Our dog had a good time at the off bind dog park located about a mile from the campground. The 7 I'm giving is due to the restrooms. The gnats at the park are horrible! This of cover is not the campground's fault but even 100% DEET didn't deter them. I would not advise going in April! We camped here in a dwell Trailer. This is a super nice campground and park The cater was friendly and very knowledgable about both the campground sites the lay and the Charleston area. Everything was clean. We saw a staff play cart at least once an hour picking up or checking for cast aside. This park would be great for both sightseers as come up as a destination. They undergo go service to the land as well as downtown. The wet lay was not change state but the kids would really like it. We did not use the TV but our neighbors said they had great reception.
